Yes, just after she turned 4, Sarah is nighttime trained. The best thing is it all happened by itself. I did not set out to train her. It happened one night when dh was helping her to get ready for bed as I was busy with baby. He forgot to put the diapers on for her, and I was not aware of it too when Sarah came to bed. When she woke up in the morning, she told me she wanted to pee. Thinking she had her diaper on, I told her to go ahead to pee. But she went straight to the toilet instead. Though I found it strange, I did not think further. It was only later when I wanted to bath her that I discovered that she was not wearing any diapers. I asked her if she wore any diapers last night and she said no. She stayed dry through the night.
So from that night on, she went without diapers. There were a couple of accidents in the beginning, and 2 weeks on now, she has stayed dry throughout. And the best thing is I need not wake her in the middle of the night to get her to go toilet.
I thank God for helping her and me with this transition. If it were left to me alone, I definitely would not have initiated the training, though it has been on my mind to do that for a long time.
Anyway, one more step to go before I can stop buying diapers for her, and I pray God will help her with that too.
